Represents an optional parameter that is used by the MvcHandler class during routing.

The UrlParameter type exposes the following members.

The following route is defined by default in the Global.asax file:
{controller}/{action}/{id}
In this default route, controller is set to "Home", action is set to "Index", and id is set to Optional. If no value is passed for id, the MvcHandler class ignores the id parameter.
