MetaTable.TryGetColumn Method

Returns a value that indicates whether a specified column can be found.

public bool TryGetColumn(
	string columnName,
	out MetaColumn column
)

Parameters

columnName
Type: System.String
The name of the column to find.
column
Type: System.Web.DynamicData.MetaColumn%
When this method returns, contains the MetaColumn object for columnName. This parameter is passed uninitialized.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the specified column can be found; otherwise, false.

If the columnName parameter is null, an InvalidOperationException exception is thrown.
