IConfigMapPath.GetAppPathForPath Method

This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Gets the virtual-directory name associated with a specific site.

Namespace:  System.Web.Configuration
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)
string GetAppPathForPath(
	string siteID,
	string path
)

Parameters

siteID
Type: System.String

A unique identifier for the site.

path
Type: System.String

The URL associated with the site.

Return Value

Type: System.String
The siteID must be unique. No two sites share the same id. The siteID distinguishes sites that have the same name.

GetAppPathForPath is introduced in the .NET Framework version 3.5. For more information, see .NET Framework Versions and Dependencies.
