HttpCapabilitiesBase.CanCombineFormsInDeck Property

Gets a value indicating whether the browser supports decks that contain multiple forms, such as separate cards.

Namespace:  System.Web.Configuration
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

public virtual bool CanCombineFormsInDeck { get; }

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the browser supports decks that contain multiple forms; otherwise, false. The default is true.

The CanCombineFormsInDeck property applies only to WML-compatible mobile devices. If true, the adapter can output multiple forms from the same page as cards of a single deck, where possible.

The following code example shows how to determine whether the browser supports decks that contain multiple forms, such as separate cards.

    void Page_Load(Object Sender, EventArgs e)
    {
        CheckBrowserCaps();
    }

    void CheckBrowserCaps()
    {
        String labelText = "";
        System.Web.HttpBrowserCapabilities myBrowserCaps = Request.Browser;
        if (((System.Web.Configuration.HttpCapabilitiesBase)myBrowserCaps).CanCombineFormsInDeck)
        {
            labelText = "Browser supports decks that contain multiple forms.";
        }
        else
        {
            labelText = "Browser does not support decks that contain multiple forms.";
        }

        Label1.Text = labelText;
    }
</script>
