ImplicitResourceKey.Filter Property

Gets or sets the filter value of an implicit resource key.

Namespace:  System.Web.Compilation
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)
public string Filter { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.String
A String containing the filter value for the implicit resource expression.

The Filter property refers to the value before the colon (:) in an expression. For example, suppose you had an implicit resource in the following form:

<asp:label runat="server" id="label1" meta:resourcekey="Welcome"
        text="Welcome"
        ie:text="Welcome Internet Explorer User"
        forecolor="blue"/>

This resource contains three keys that potentially have localized resource values to retrieve from the resource file or source code. One of these keys is Ie:Welcome.Text, in which "Ie" is the Filter value.
