HostCurrentTransactionCallback Delegate

Note: This delegate is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Provides a mechanism for the hosting environment to supply its own default notion of Current.

Namespace: System.Transactions
Assembly: System.Transactions (in system.transactions.dll)

public delegate Transaction HostCurrentTransactionCallback ()
/** @delegate */
public delegate Transaction HostCurrentTransactionCallback ()
JScript supports the use of delegates, but not the declaration of new ones.

Return Value

A Transaction object.

This delegate provides a mechanism for a hosting environment to supply its own default notion of Current. It is called when Current is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic), and there is no current TransactionScope that indicates that the ambient transaction may have been suppressed.
