XmlSerializerFormatAttribute.SupportFaults Property

Gets or sets a value that indicates that the XmlSerializer should be used for reading and writing faults.

public bool SupportFaults { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the XmlSerializer should be used for reading and writing faults; false if the DataContractSerializer should be used. The default is false.

The default formatter for fault serialization is the DataContractSerializer. To use the XmlSerializer, set this property to true.
