SyndicationLink.MediaType Property

Gets and sets the media type of the linked resource.

Namespace:  System.ServiceModel.Syndication

public string MediaType { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.String
The media type of the linked resource.

When serialized to Atom 1.0 this value is written as a type attribute in the <link> element. When serialized to RSS 2.0 this value is written as the type attribute in the <a10:link> element.

The following code shows how to set the media type on a syndication link.

The following XML shows how the MediaType property is serialized to Atom 1.0.
