WebHttpBehavior.HelpEnabled Property

Gets or sets a value that determines if the WCF Help page is enabled.

Namespace:  System.ServiceModel.Description
Assembly:  System.ServiceModel.Web (in System.ServiceModel.Web.dll)
public virtual bool HelpEnabled { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the WCFHelp page is enabled; otherwise false.

To enable the helpEnabled attribute in a configuration file:

<system.serviceModel>
    <behaviors>
        <endpointBehaviors>
            <behavior name="MyEndpointBehavior">
                <webHttp helpEnabled="true" />
            </behavior>
    </endpointBehaviors>
</system.serviceModel>

To programmatically enable the HelpEnabled property:

WebHttpBehavior helpBehavior = new WebHttpBehavior();
helpBehavior.HelpEnabled = true;
host.Description.Endpoints[0].Behaviors.Add(helpBehavior);

Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core Role not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
