WebHttpBehavior.DefaultOutgoingResponseFormat Property

Gets and sets the default outgoing response format.

public virtual WebMessageFormat DefaultOutgoingResponseFormat { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.ServiceModel.Web.WebMessageFormat
One of the values defined in the WebMessageFormat enumeration.

If the WebGetAttribute or WebInvokeAttribute does not explicitly set the OutgoingResponseFormat property, the value of this property is used as the response format for the operation. The default value is Xml.
