LocalServiceSecuritySettings.MaxClockSkew Property

Gets or sets the maximum allowable time difference between the system clocks of the two parties that are communicating.

Property Value

Type: System.TimeSpan
A TimeSpan that represents the maximum allowable time difference between the system clocks of the two parties that are communicating. The default is 5 minutes.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentOutOfRangeException

The property is set to a value less than 0.

The default value for this property is 5 minutes.

Messages that do not pass the send-time test are rejected.

This property is used in conjunction with the message timestamp verification and the ReplayWindow property.

This example shows how to get the MaxClockSkew value.
