BufferManager.ReturnBuffer Method

Returns a buffer to the pool.

public abstract void ReturnBuffer(
	byte[] buffer
)

Parameters

buffer
Type: System.Byte[]

A reference to the buffer being returned.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullException

buffer reference cannot be null.

ArgumentException

Length of buffer does not match the pool's buffer length property.

The buffer is returned to the pool and is available for re-use.
