Type: System..::.String
The type of authentication used to identify the user.

IIdentity..::.AuthenticationType

The authentication type is typically NTLM for WindowsIdentity objects.

The following code shows the use of the AuthenticationType property to get the type of authentication used to identify the user. This code example is part of a larger example provided for the WindowsIdentity class.
