X509Certificate2.GetNameInfo Method

Gets the subject and issuer names from a certificate.

Parameters
- nameType
The X509NameType value for the subject.
- forIssuer
true to include the issuer name; otherwise, false.
Return Value
The name of the certificate.The following code example opens the current user certificate store, selects only active certificates, then allows the user to select one or more certificates. The example then writes certificate information to the console.
