X509Certificate.GetHashCode Method
.NET Framework 4
Returns the hash code for the X.509v3 certificate as an integer.
Assembly: mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)
The following example uses the GetHashCode method to return an integer representation of a certificate's hash code and displays it to the console.
using System; using System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificates; public class X509 { public static void Main() { // The path to the certificate. string Certificate = "Certificate.cer"; // Load the certificate into an X509Certificate object. X509Certificate cert = X509Certificate.CreateFromCertFile(Certificate); // Get the value. int results = cert.GetHashCode(); // Display the value to the console. Console.WriteLine(results); } }
