HashAlgorithm.Hash Property

Gets the value of the computed hash code.

Property Value

Type: System.Byte[]
The current value of the computed hash code.
ExceptionCondition
CryptographicUnexpectedOperationException

HashValue is null.

ObjectDisposedException

The object has already been disposed.

The Hash property is a byte array; the HashSize property is a value that represent bits. Therefore, the number of elements in Hash is one-eighth the size of HashSize.

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1
