IRemotingFormatter Interface

Provides the remote procedure call (RPC) interface for all formatters.

The IRemotingFormatter type exposes the following members.

Public property Binder Gets or sets the SerializationBinder that performs type lookups during deserialization. (Inherited from IFormatter.)
Public property Context Gets or sets the StreamingContext used for serialization and deserialization. (Inherited from IFormatter.)
Public property SurrogateSelector Gets or sets the SurrogateSelector used by the current formatter. (Inherited from IFormatter.)

Public method Deserialize(Stream, HeaderHandler) Begins the deserialization process of a remote procedure call (RPC).

The IRemotingFormatter interface allows the implementing formatter to send and receive remote procedure calls (RPCs). For more information, see BinaryFormatter. This interface is derived from IFormatter.
