OpCodes.Pop Field

Removes the value currently on top of the evaluation stack.

pop

Pops the top value from the stack.

The stack transitional behavior, in sequential order, is:

  1. The top value is popped from the stack.

The pop instruction removes the top element from the stack.

The following Emit method overload can use the pop opcode:

  • ILGenerator.Emit(OpCode)

.NET Framework Client Profile

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Windows 8 Consumer Preview, Windows Server 8 Beta, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 SP2, Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
