BigInteger.Multiply Operator

Multiplies two specified BigInteger values.

Namespace:  System.Numerics
Assembly:  System.Numerics (in System.Numerics.dll)
public static BigInteger operator *(
	BigInteger left,
	BigInteger right
)

Parameters

left
Type: System.Numerics.BigInteger
The first value to multiply.
right
Type: System.Numerics.BigInteger
The second value to multiply.

Return Value

Type: System.Numerics.BigInteger
The product of left and right.

The Multiply method defines the operation of the multiplication operator for BigInteger values. It enables code such as the following:


BigInteger num1 = 1000456321;
BigInteger num2 = 90329434;
BigInteger result = num1 * num2;
