MediaTypeNames.Application Class

Specifies the kind of application data in an e-mail message attachment.

The MediaTypeNames.Application type exposes the following members.

Public fieldStatic memberOctetSpecifies that the MediaTypeNames.Application data is not interpreted.
Public fieldStatic memberPdfSpecifies that the MediaTypeNames.Application data is in Portable Document Format (PDF).
Public fieldStatic memberRtfSpecifies that the MediaTypeNames.Application data is in Rich Text Format (RTF).
Public fieldStatic memberSoapSpecifies that the MediaTypeNames.Application data is a SOAP document.
Public fieldStatic memberZipSpecifies that the MediaTypeNames.Application data is compressed.

The MediaTypeNames.Application media type designates that the attachment data should be processed by an application, such as a Postscript processor, a spreadsheet, or a word processor. The data is usually something other than simple text, such as an image, or an audio or video file.
