SoundPlayer.OnSoundLocationChanged Method

Note: This method is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Raises the SoundLocationChanged event.

Namespace: System.Media
Assembly: System (in system.dll)

protected virtual void OnSoundLocationChanged (
	EventArgs e
)
protected void OnSoundLocationChanged (
	EventArgs e
)
protected function OnSoundLocationChanged (
	e : EventArgs
)

Parameters

e

An EventArgs that contains the event data.

This method is called when a new audio source path for this SoundPlayer has been set.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see How to: Provide Event functionality and Raising an Event.

The OnSoundLocationChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors When overriding OnSoundLocationChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnSoundLocationChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.

The .NET Framework does not support all versions of every platform. For a list of the supported versions, see System Requirements.
