SetValueInvocationException Class

Exception thrown by the underlying setter of a referenced member when it recognizes that an error has occurred while setting the value of an ETS member (property, method, or parameterized property).

Script developers can trap this exception using the Trap statement (defined by the Windows PowerShell language) in their scripts. For more information about other exceptions thrown by ETS, see ETS Errors and Exceptions.

This exception is thrown when the underlying setter recognizes that the error has occurred. When Windows PowerShell recognizes that the error has occurred, it throws a SetValueException exception.
