PSAdaptedProperty Class

Represents an extended adapted property of a PSObject object. This class is introduced in Windows PowerShell 2.0.

An adapted property is any property that is made available through an adapter. For more information about adapted properties as well as other property types defined by the extended type system (ETS), see ETS Properties. For more information about the extended type system (ETS), see Windows PowerShell Extended Type System (ETS).
To implement your own adapter, you must define a class that derives from the PSPropertyAdapter class.
Although it is possible to derive from this class, there is no established scenario for doing this and any attempt to do so might result in unexpected behavior
