ParameterSetMetadata.HelpMessageBaseName Property

Gets and sets the location of the resource identifiers of the parameter for this parameter set, such as a resource assembly that contains the Help messages used for localization. This property is introduced in Windows PowerShell 2.0.

Property Value

A String object that contains the location of the resource identifiers of the parameter for this parameter set, such as a resource assembly that contains the Help messages used for localization. These Help messages are used primarily for prompting for mandatory parameters. They are displayed when the command is run, and they do not show up when the Get-Help cmdlet is run.

The information provided by this class is accessed through the ParameterMetadata.ParameterSets property.
