Exception thrown when the pipeline is stopped because of a Stop or Inquire policy.

Remarks

For example, an ActionPreferenceStopException exception is thrown when a cmdlet is running under a Stop policy (that is, the ErrorAction parameter of the cmdlet was set to Stop) and a non-terminating error occurs. Error action policies are defined by the ActionPreference enumeration.
