IntPtr Equality Operator

Determines whether two specified instances of IntPtr are equal.

[Visual Basic]
returnValue = IntPtr.op_Equality(value1, value2)
[C#]
public static bool operator ==(
 IntPtr value1,
 IntPtr value2
);
[C++]
public: static bool op_Equality(
 IntPtr value1,
 IntPtr value2
);
[JScript]
returnValue = value1 == value2;

[Visual Basic] In Visual Basic, you can use the operators defined by a type, but you cannot define your own. You can use the Equals method instead of the IntPtr equality operator.

[JScript] In JScript, you can use the operators defined by a type, but you cannot define your own.

value1
An IntPtr.
value2
An IntPtr.

Parameters [C#, C++]

value1
An IntPtr.
value2
An IntPtr.

Return Value

true if value1 equals value2; otherwise, false.
