X509SubjectKeyIdentifierClause.CanCreateFrom Method

Gets a value that indicates whether a key identifier clause can be created for the specified X.509 certificate.

Parameters

certificate
Type: System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificates.X509Certificate2

An X509Certificate2 that contains the X.509 certificate.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if a key identifier clause can be created for certificate; otherwise, false.
ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullException

certificate is null.

A key identifier clause can be created when the certificate parameter contains the X509SubjectKeyIdentifierExtension extension.
