HebrewCalendar.TwoDigitYearMax Property

Gets or sets the last year of a 100-year range that can be represented by a 2-digit year.

Namespace:  System.Globalization
Assembly:  mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

public override int TwoDigitYearMax { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.Int32
The last year of a 100-year range that can be represented by a 2-digit year.

ExceptionCondition
InvalidOperationException

The current HebrewCalendar object is read-only.

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

In a set operation, the Hebrew calendar year value is less than 5343 but is not 99, or the year value is greater than 5999.

The TwoDigitYearMax property allows a 2-digit year to be translated to a 4-digit year. For example, if this property is set to 5729, the 100-year range is from 5630 to 5729. Therefore, a 2-digit value of 30 is interpreted as 5630, while a 2-digit value of 29 is interpreted as 5729.

If the value of the TwoDigitYearMax property is set to 99, the ToFourDigitYear method returns its year parameter unchanged. Therefore, a 2-digit value of 30 is interpreted as 30.
