GetMemberBinder Class

Represents the dynamic get member operation at the call site, providing the binding semantic and the details about the operation.

Namespace:  System.Dynamic
Assembly:  System.Core (in System.Core.dll)
public abstract class GetMemberBinder : DynamicMetaObjectBinder

The GetMemberBinder type exposes the following members.

  Name Description
Protected method GetMemberBinder Initializes a new instance of the GetMemberBinder.
Top
  Name Description
Public property IgnoreCase Gets the value indicating if the string comparison should ignore the case of the member name.
Public property Name Gets the name of the member to obtain.
Public property ReturnType The result type of the operation. (Overrides DynamicMetaObjectBinder.ReturnType.)

  Name Description
Public method Bind(DynamicMetaObject, DynamicMetaObject[]) Performs the binding of the dynamic get member operation. (Overrides DynamicMetaObjectBinder.Bind(DynamicMetaObject, DynamicMetaObject[]).)
Public method Bind(Object[], ReadOnlyCollection<ParameterExpression>, LabelTarget) Performs the runtime binding of the dynamic operation on a set of arguments. (Inherited from DynamicMetaObjectBinder.)
Public method BindDelegate<T> Provides low-level runtime binding support. Classes can override this and provide a direct delegate for the implementation of rule. This can enable saving rules to disk, having specialized rules available at runtime, or providing a different caching policy. (Inherited from CallSiteBinder.)
Protected method CacheTarget<T> Adds a target to the cache of known targets. The cached targets will be scanned before calling BindDelegate to produce the new rule. (Inherited from CallSiteBinder.)
Public method Defer(DynamicMetaObject[]) Defers the binding of the operation until later time when the runtime values of all dynamic operation arguments have been computed. (Inherited from DynamicMetaObjectBinder.)
Public method Defer(DynamicMetaObject, DynamicMetaObject[]) Defers the binding of the operation until later time when the runtime values of all dynamic operation arguments have been computed. (Inherited from DynamicMetaObjectBinder.)
Public method Equals(Object) Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)
Public method FallbackGetMember(DynamicMetaObject) Performs the binding of the dynamic get member operation if the target dynamic object cannot bind.
Public method FallbackGetMember(DynamicMetaObject, DynamicMetaObject) When overridden in the derived class, performs the binding of the dynamic get member operation if the target dynamic object cannot bind.
Protected method Finalize Allows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before it is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Inherited from Object.)
Public method GetHashCode Serves as a hash function for a particular type. (Inherited from Object.)
Public method GetType Gets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.)
Public method GetUpdateExpression Gets an expression that will cause the binding to be updated. It indicates that the expression's binding is no longer valid. This is typically used when the "version" of a dynamic object has changed. (Inherited from DynamicMetaObjectBinder.)
Protected method MemberwiseClone Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)
Public method ToString Returns a string that represents the current object. (Inherited from Object.)
