ISymbolWriter.SetMethodSourceRange Method

Specifies the true start and end of a method within a source file. Use SetMethodSourceRange to specify the extent of a method, independent of the sequence points that exist within the method.

Parameters

startDoc
Type: System.Diagnostics.SymbolStore.ISymbolDocumentWriter

The document that contains the starting position.

startLine
Type: System.Int32

The starting line number.

startColumn
Type: System.Int32

The starting column.

endDoc
Type: System.Diagnostics.SymbolStore.ISymbolDocumentWriter

The document that contains the ending position.

endLine
Type: System.Int32

The ending line number.

endColumn
Type: System.Int32

The ending column number.
