DelimitedListTraceListener.Delimiter Property

Note: This property is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Gets or sets the delimiter for the delimited list.

Property Value

The delimiter for the delimited list.

ArgumentNullException

Delimiter is set to a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

ArgumentException

Delimiter is set to an empty string ("").

The default delimiter is ";" (semicolon). The following configuration file example shows the setting of the Delimiter property using the delimiter attribute in a configuration file:
