ApplicationDeployment.CheckForUpdateProgressChanged Event

Occurs when a progress update is available on a CheckForUpdateAsync call.

Namespace:  System.Deployment.Application
Assembly:  System.Deployment (in System.Deployment.dll)

member CheckForUpdateProgressChanged : IEvent<DeploymentProgressChangedEventHandler,
    DeploymentProgressChangedEventArgs>

CheckForUpdateProgressChanged reports on the download status of the application's deployment manifest. This can be important information for users who are downloading the deployment over slow network connections.

The following code example uses the CheckForUpdateProgressChanged event to inform the user how much of the deployment manifest is left to download. The example requires that you deploy a Windows Forms application that includes a StatusStrip control, and that this control contain a ToolStripStatusLabel control named downloadStatus..
