The value of the property represents the number of 100-nanosecond intervals that have elapsed since 12:00:00 midnight on January 1, 0001 (the value of MinValue). It does not include ticks that would be added by leap seconds. A nanosecond is one billionth of a second; there are ten million ticks in a second. The value of the property ranges from DateTimeOffset.MinValue.Ticks to DateTimeOffset.MaxValue.Ticks.
