OracleParameter.SourceColumn Property

Gets or sets the name of the source column mapped to the DataSet and used for loading or returning the Value

Property Value

Type: System.String
The name of the source column mapped to the DataSet. The default is an empty string ("").

The link between the value of the OracleParameter and the DataTable may be bidirectional depending on the value of the Direction property.

The following example creates a OracleParameter and sets some of its properties.

public void CreateOracleDbParameter() 
{
   OracleParameter parameter = new OracleParameter();
   parameter.ParameterName = "pDName";
   parameter.DbType = DbType.String;
   parameter.Value = "ENGINEERING";
   parameter.SourceColumn = "DName";
}
