OracleParameter.IsNullable Property

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the parameter accepts null values.

Not applicable.

Property Value

true if null values are accepted, otherwise false. The default is false.

Null values are handled using the DBNull class.

The following example creates a OracleParameter and sets some of its properties.

public void CreateOracleParameter() 
{
   OracleParameter parameter = new OracleParameter("DName", OracleType.VarChar, 14);
   parameter.IsNullable = true;
   parameter.Direction = ParameterDirection.Output;
}
