EdmFunctions.Max Method

Creates a DbFunctionExpression that invokes the canonical 'Max' function over the specified collection. The result type of the expression is the same as the element type of the collection.

An expression that specifies the collection from which the maximum value should be retrieved

Type: System.Data.Common.CommandTrees.DbFunctionExpression
A new DbFunctionExpression that produces the maximum value.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type DbExpression. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
