DbExpressionBuilder.Null Method

Creates a new DbNullExpression, which represents a typed null value.

Parameters

nullType
Type: System.Data.Metadata.Edm.TypeUsage

The type of the null value.

Return Value

Type: System.Data.Common.CommandTrees.DbNullExpression
An instance of DbNullExpression.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type TypeUsage. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
