Parameters

clearTextXml: Type: System.String
An XML string representing a configuration section to encrypt.

protectionProvider: Type: System.Configuration.ProtectedConfigurationProvider
The ProtectedConfigurationProvider object.

protectedConfigSection: Type: System.Configuration.ProtectedConfigurationSection
The ProtectedConfigurationSection object.

Return Value

Type: System.String
An encrypted configuration section represented as a string.
