ICustomTypeDescriptor.GetEditor Method

Returns an editor of the specified type for this instance of a component.

Parameters

editorBaseType
Type: System.Type

A Type that represents the editor for this object.

Return Value

Type: System.Object
An Object of the specified type that is the editor for this object, or a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if the editor cannot be found.

The type of the editorBaseType parameter is usually UITypeEditor, but you can also use other types (for example, ComponentEditor and InstanceCreationEditor).
