The UIHintAttribute type exposes the following members.

  Name Description
Public method UIHintAttribute(String) Initializes a new instance of the UIHintAttribute class with the specified name of the control to use to display the member.
Public method UIHintAttribute(String, String) Initializes a new instance of the UIHintAttribute class with the specified name of the control to use to display the member and the presentation layer for the control.
Public method UIHintAttribute(String, String, Object[]) Initializes a new instance of the UIHintAttribute class with the specified name of the control to use to display the member, the presentation layer for the control, and the parameters to use when creating an instance of the control.

You use the UIHintAttribute attribute to specify a customized class to use for rendering data for an entity property. You provide the name of the class in the attribute constructor.
