CustomTypeDescriptor.GetComponentName Method

Returns the name of the class represented by this type descriptor.

Assembly:  System (in System.dll)
public virtual string GetComponentName()

Return Value

Type: System.String
A String containing the name of the component instance this type descriptor is describing. The default is null.

Implements

ICustomTypeDescriptor.GetComponentName()

If a parent custom type descriptor was passed to the CustomTypeDescriptor constructor, the GetComponentName method will call the parent's corresponding method.
