BackgroundWorker.WorkerReportsProgress Property

Gets or sets a value indicating whether the BackgroundWorker can report progress updates.

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the BackgroundWorker supports progress updates; otherwise false. The default is false.

Set the WorkerReportsProgress property to true if you want the BackgroundWorker to support progress updates. When this property is true, user code can call the ReportProgress method to raise the ProgressChanged event.

Property not valid
When I try to change the property from false to true, I get an error "Property value is not valid". So, I'm unable to change the property from false to true.
