Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/.NET Framework 3.5

Other versions are also available for the following:
.NET Framework Class Library
GeneratedCodeAttribute Class

Identifies code generated by a tool. This class cannot be inherited.

Namespace:  System.CodeDom.Compiler
Assembly:  System (in System.dll)
Visual Basic (Declaration)
<AttributeUsageAttribute(AttributeTargets.All, Inherited := False, AllowMultiple := False)> _
Public NotInheritable Class GeneratedCodeAttribute _
    Inherits Attribute
Visual Basic (Usage)
Dim instance As GeneratedCodeAttribute
C#
[AttributeUsageAttribute(AttributeTargets.All, Inherited = false, AllowMultiple = false)]
public sealed class GeneratedCodeAttribute : Attribute
Visual C++
[AttributeUsageAttribute(AttributeTargets::All, Inherited = false, AllowMultiple = false)]
public ref class GeneratedCodeAttribute sealed : public Attribute
JScript
public final class GeneratedCodeAttribute extends Attribute

The GeneratedCodeAttribute class can be used by code analysis tools to identify computer-generated code, and to provide an analysis based on the tool and the version of the tool that generated the code.

The following code example shows the use of the GeneratedCodeAttribute class to identify computer-generated code.

Visual Basic
Dim generatedCodeAttribute As New CodeAttributeDeclaration( _
    GetType(System.CodeDom.Compiler.GeneratedCodeAttribute).FullName, _
    New CodeAttributeArgument(New CodePrimitiveExpression("TypedDataSetGenerator")), _
    New CodeAttributeArgument(New CodePrimitiveExpression("2.0.0.0"))) nodeClass.CustomAttributes.Add(generatedCodeAttribute)
C#
CodeAttributeDeclaration generatedCodeAttribute =
      new CodeAttributeDeclaration( typeof(System.CodeDom.Compiler.GeneratedCodeAttribute).FullName,
    new CodeAttributeArgument(
    new CodePrimitiveExpression("TypedDataSetGenerator" )),
    new CodeAttributeArgument(
    new CodePrimitiveExpression("2.0.0.0")));typeDeclaration.CustomAttributes.Add(generatedCodeAttribute);
System..::.Object
  System..::.Attribute
    System.CodeDom.Compiler..::.GeneratedCodeAttribute
Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.

Does anybody know of a way to generate enitity classes with an applied GeneratedCodeAttribute preventing the code analysis tool messing around with it?
