AppDomainManager.CheckSecuritySettings Method

This type can be used only by trusted applications. If you try to use its members in a partial-trust application, your code will throw a MethodAccessException exception. This type is security-critical, which restricts its use.

Returns a Boolean indicating whether the specified operation is allowed in the application domain.

Type: System.Security.SecurityState
A subclass of SecurityState that identifies the operation whose security status is requested.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the host allows the operation specified by state to be performed in the application domain; otherwise false.
