In MFC 5.0, Enable3dControls and Enable3dControlsStatic are obsolete because their functionality is incorporated into the Microsoft 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems. Applications that target the 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems may remove calls to these methods or ignore the deprecation warning.
