If you have the required software, you can enable SQL debugging by performing these steps. For more information, see Software Requirements.
To enable SQL debugging
- Run Remote Components Setup, which will install SQL debugging components on the server. For more information, see Setting Up Remote Debugging and Remote Components Setup.
- Set Up SQL Server permissions for debugging. For more information, see Setting SQL Server Permissions for Debugging.
- Configure DCOM for SQL debugging on the server for SQL debugging. For more information, see Configuring DCOM for SQL Debugging.
