PermissionType enumeration

Represents a user's permissions.

This enumeration has a FlagsAttribute attribute that allows a bitwise combination of its member values.

Namespace:  Microsoft.Office.InfoPath
Assembly:  Microsoft.Office.InfoPath (in Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.dll)
[FlagsAttribute]
public enum PermissionType
Member nameDescription
ViewAllows the user to view (read) the form. (The Read and View permissions are equivalent.)
EditAllows the user to edit the form.
SaveAllows the user to save the form.
ExtractAllows a user with the Read permission to copy content in the form.
PrintAllows the user to print the form.
ObjectModelAllows a user to access the form document programmatically through its object model. Users without the ObjectModel permission cannot use the object model to determine their own permissions.
FullControlAllows the user to add, change, and remove permissions for other users of a form.
ReadAllows the user to read (view) the form. (The Read and View permissions are equivalent.)
ChangeAllows users to view, edit, copy, and save, but not print a form. Equivalent to the Read, Edit, Save, and Extract permissions combined.

These enumerated constants are returned by the Permission property of the UserPermission class, and passed as the PermissionType parameter to the Add(String, PermissionType) method of the UserPermissionCollection class.

This type or member can be accessed only from code running in forms opened in Microsoft InfoPath Filler.
