Documentation

We periodically publish new content. To view content relating to Project 2010, click the items in the table of contents in the left pane, or click the items in the following list.

  • Project 2010 SDK Documentation. Software development kits (SDKs) or references are extended documentation sets. They usually provide application programming interface (API) documentation, sample code, and other supporting information. The Project 2010 SDK includes articles and technical references for Project Server 2010 and the Project 2010 desktop applications.

  • Project 2010 Developer Reference. This is the online Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) reference for the Project Standard 2010 and Project Professional 2010 desktop applications. It duplicates the VBA Help content that is available within the Visual Basic Editor (VBE) in Project 2010.

  • Technical articles for Project 2010 include:

    Technical articles are 10-35 pages in length and provide detailed technical information and code examples. They may serve any number of purposes: getting started, providing best practices, describing a solution, discussing the use of a given object or method in depth, and so on.
