This section contains the schema reference for manifests of apps for Office. This schema is common to all supporting Office applications (rich applications and some of the corresponding Web Apps). The schema enables an app to declaratively describe information about app identification, scope of support (locales, capabilities requested of a host), and operations (requested permissions, activation conditions).
