Windows Media Player 6.4 SDK

This documentation describes the Microsoft® Windows Media® Player 6.4 Software Development Kit (SDK). The Windows Media Player control version 6.4 is a Microsoft ActiveX® control used for adding multimedia playback capabilities to COM-based documents and applications, as well as Web pages. It provides a programming interface for rendering a variety of network streaming and nonstreaming multimedia formats. The Windows Media Player control version 6.4 incorporates many of the features of the Microsoft ActiveMovie® control and the Microsoft NetShow® Player version 2.0 control, as well as many other features.
